impressed visitors to Index17 with the launch of its Citadel monoblock packer
for round wipes in flexible packs, providing the best wet wipes turnkey solution.
Offering cinema screen demonstrations of the Citadel at Index 17 the largest global meeting
place for the nonwovens market, its suppliers and customers the SAW team
was also on hand to discuss its full
line-up of nonwovens machines
including full turnkey lines for round wipes in canisters, and buckets.
Already sold to a major wet wipes manufacturer, the Citadel
is a complete all-in-one monoblock packer designed for round wet wipes packaging in ready-made bags.
With the Citadel, bags are stacked in a magazine and fed
into a rotary index table where they are automatically opened, loaded with
wipes, liquid filled, QC’d, sealed and discharged.
All of SAWW’s Nonwovens Machinery benefits from top out-of-the-box Israeli
engineering, the Citadel offers a throughput of up to 30 products per minute
and is made to service the jumbo rolls (J Series), standard wet wipes in
flexible packs and refill markets (R Series).
